Boston Bomber(s) Caught

 

Terrible that someone would bomb the freakin' Boston Marathon.  At first, I thought it was a disgruntled Willy Whistle from WSBK-TV 38 (UHF for the uninformed, back in the late '70s).

 

 Luckily, however, it was not.  Instead, it was a stunt for the new Live-Action Whacky Races version of Laff-A-Lympics.  Here, we see Mumbly (aka Muttley) and Dastardly Dan (aka Dread Baron) setting a trap so that they can win the Boston Marathon by defeating the people in first place so The Really Rottens could win again!!!

Luckily, the "Mean Machine" ran by Muttley and Dastardly Dan was thwarted (no thanks to the leader of the Really Rottens, Obama).
